Untouched Wilkinson Private Purchase (Scroll Etching) Second Pattern F-S Fighting Knife

I really enjoy finding knives like this one; an untouched, carried and used but totally honest Wilkie and with a personal scroll etching too! Newley discovered, never been in a collection and completely untouched, uncleaned and just as the original owner left it all those years ago. A completely honest, original and correct circa 1943 Wilkinson Second Pattern F-S with a scroll etching containing the original owners name of ‘CLARENCE E. ARMS’. Full length blade at 6 3/4”, showing sigs of use and wear, with some nicks, old corrosion spots, scratches etc. but with all three etching panels clear and readable. A solid example with no issues. The pommel nut is original, correct and untouched. The original scabbard has only the lower half remaining. A really lovely example that Clarence carried and used. No research has been done, so no further history on this chap is know. It’s like this gent put it away at the end of the way and here it is, untouched and just how he left it, wonderful..!
