Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife Galleries
Presenting An Extensive Photographic Recourse Of The F-S Knife
Over the many years I have been studying the Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife I have endeavored to maintain ongoing records of all those knives that have passed through my hands. With literally thousands of original F-S Knives studied, including some of the rarest and most important known examples, my records are perhaps the most extensive ever compiled.
I have decide to make this unique recourse available and share it here in the hopes that it will aid you in your collecting and/or study of this iconic knife.
It is my intention to add as many 'galleries' as able in order to represent all the known F-S variations, however this is no small task, so I ask visitors to be patient as I work through my catalogue of research and add galleries as and when able. This is an ongoing project and as and when new examples become available they will be included in the appropriate gallery.
Please note that some of the images are not of the highest quality as they may have been taken from my earlier records and when my photographic skills such as they are were, less developed (I am NO expert in this area). Also some examples have been shared here by friends and fellow collectors who have kindly sent me photographs of their own knives and collection, for that I am sincerely grateful. If You have an F-S you feel would be a suitable addition to include in any of the galleries then please feel free to get in touch and send along some images. I do need some 'space' around the knife, so I can crop images to suite my formatting.
