Incredibly Rare Steel Hilt F-S Fighting Knife Complete With Sheath - D-Day & French Resistance Interest

A totally original, correct and complete, extremely rare Steel Hilt F-S Fighting Knife. This rare F-S variation is known to have been supplied to troops on the D-Day landings as well as being dropped to the French Resistance. Simply made with a steel grip, these are often faked but rest assured this one is guaranteed 100% original and correct. The original sheaths are very simply made and fragile, clearly not meant to last much beyond the landings and often simply don’t survive. This is a wonderful and honest example, clearly issues, carried and used. The fragile sheath has some issues but it totally original and correct. The F-S Knife is solid with no issues, blade is 6 3/8” long with general signs of sharpening and use. A wonderful and complete example of an incredibly rare D-Day/Resistance variation.
